1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use 3C, we may collect account and profile information such as your name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, organization affiliation, sport, role, and account preferences. For athletes, we may also process competition-related information such as divisions, brackets, schedules, call times, ring or mat assignments, coach notes, performance information, and linked guardian relationships.
When users upload or create content, we may process videos, images, notes, messages, annotations, analysis, and other content associated with an athlete or organization. We may also collect technical information such as device type, browser, operating system, log data, error information, network status, synchronization status, and other information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How we use information
We may use information to create and manage accounts; verify and maintain athlete, guardian, coach, and organization relationships; provide competition schedules, alerts, communication, video review, and analysis tools; operate local/offline and synchronization features; provide support; protect the service from misuse; troubleshoot problems; improve 3C; and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
3. Athlete, guardian, and minor information
3C is designed to support age-aware account and permission workflows. Where appropriate, a minor athlete’s access may be connected to one or more parents or guardians, and certain coach-created notes, analysis, communications, or video feedback may be visible to linked guardians. Age requirements and available features may vary by jurisdiction, organization policy, and applicable law.
Parents, guardians, coaches, and organizations should only provide information about minors when they are authorized to do so. 3C may request additional authorization or verification before enabling certain features or account relationships.
4. Communications
3C may process messages, announcements, notifications, and related delivery information in order to provide team and athlete communication. Communication visibility can depend on role, athlete age, guardian relationships, organization settings, and applicable safety requirements.
5. Video, media, and analysis
Users may upload, record, transfer, synchronize, or review competition-related video and media. Users are responsible for having appropriate authority or permission to upload and share content. 3C may store metadata about content, its owner or source, authorized viewers, synchronization state, and storage location in order to provide these features.
6. How information may be shared
Information may be shared with other authorized 3C users when necessary to provide the service, including linked athletes, guardians, coaches, head coaches, and organization administrators. The information visible to another user depends on their role, organization relationship, athlete relationship, permissions, and applicable age-based rules.
We may also use service providers that help us host, secure, deliver, monitor, or support 3C. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transaction involving the service. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and organization relationships, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the integrity of the service. Retention periods can differ based on the type of information and how it is used. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and relationship to the account, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request information about personal data associated with you. Parents and guardians may also have rights concerning information associated with a minor athlete. Requests may require identity or authority verification before we act on them.
10. Account deletion
You may request account deletion as described on our Account Deletion page. Some information may be retained when required by law, needed for security or fraud prevention, or necessary to preserve records belonging to another authorized user or organization.
11. Changes to this policy
3C is still evolving. We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, legal requirements, or our practices change. We will update the effective date when we make material revisions.
